As a kind of auxiliary material, PP foam tape also has crucial functions, and the rebound rate, density and hardness are several criteria for judging the quality of PP foam tape, three of which are indispensable.
1. The first criterion is the rebound rate
The rebound rate is an important parameter of PP foam tape. Usually, the master judges the rebound of PP foam tape by pressing down with his finger to see the rebound of the foam. The foam with good rebound can be placed when the finger is pressed down. After opening, it can rebound quickly, and the finger pressing marks will disappear. Generally, the rebound rate of domestic foam is very low, and the fingerprints can hardly bounce; the rubber content determines the rebound rate. The higher the rubber content, the better the elasticity. (When the amount of foam rubber is 40%-100%, the resilience performance is well reflected).
2. The second criterion is density
The density parameter reflects the number of compression ratios of PP foam tape during punching. The higher the density, the more times the PP foam tape can withstand punching. The density of PP foam tape is quite special. On the one hand, it needs to rebound quickly without being deformed when it is subjected to rapid stamping. Therefore, when choosing PP foam tape, it is mainly based on the fineness of the foam holes and the size of the holes. If the holes are smaller and finer, the density will be higher. .
3, hardness is also an important indicator
As a parameter of PP foam tape, although the hardness is not particularly important, it is also necessary to choose a suitable one for the overall fit.
