3. Carry out a high temperature test, and perform an actual high temperature test on Kapton tape. After the high temperature, check the peeling force to see if there is any residual glue, shrinkage, etc. Because the temperature resistance of real Kapton tape is usually between 120 degrees and 260 degrees.
4. Look at the appearance and the brightness of the Kapton tape surface. Generally speaking, the color of low-quality polyimide high-temperature tape is a little dark, and the probability of breakage is very high, and the strength is poor. On the contrary, the high-quality polyimide high-temperature tape has better surface gloss.
5. To see the residue after burning, you can bake the Kapton tape with a lighter for 1 to 2 seconds, and then touch it with your hands. If the low-quality polyimide high-temperature tape is burned and touched by hand, the glue will stick to the hand, if it is a real polyimide high-temperature tape, it will not stick to the hand.
6. When testing the material, please refer to the instructions of Kapton tape. Because of the different types, some polyimide high temperature tapes are as sticky after high temperature resistance, some are torn off after high temperature resistance without leaving residual glue, and some are not deformed after high temperature resistance. Therefore, specific It still depends on what your polyimide high temperature tape is like.
