Product Description
Ordinary whitened non-woven fabric tape is made from polyester fibers. The fibers are mechanically carded into a web and then formed through hot-rolling bonding or foam impregnation, drying and pressing. This construction creates a lightweight and flexible tape for cable and optical-cable processing.
In wire and cable production, the tape can be used as an insulation layer, cushioning layer or thermal-protection layer. It can also help fix the cable core and maintain separation between extruded layers.
