Product Description
Double-conductive copper foil tape combines rolled copper foil with conductive acrylic adhesive. Unlike single-conductive tape, the adhesive layer is electrically conductive, supporting electrical contact through the tape thickness as well as along the copper surface. This construction is suitable for EMI shielding, electrostatic discharge, grounding continuity and heat-transfer applications in compatible electronic assemblies.
The series is available in four verified thickness grades, allowing buyers to select the copper substrate and total thickness according to the required profile, mechanical handling and assembly design.
Available Thickness Grades
Grade | Copper Foil Substrate | Total Thickness | TDS Standard Size |
0.05 mm grade | 0.018 ± 0.002 mm | 0.05 ± 0.008 mm | 490 mm × 50 m |
0.06 mm grade | 0.022 ± 0.003 mm | 0.06 ± 0.008 mm | 380 mm × 50 m |
0.075 mm grade | 0.035 ± 0.003 mm | 0.075 ± 0.008 mm | 380 mm × 50 m |
0.09 mm grade | 0.045 ± 0.003 mm | 0.09 ± 0.008 mm | 380 mm × 50 m |
The standard sizes above are master-roll specifications shown in the respective TDS documents. Finished slit width, roll length and packaging must be confirmed for each order.
There are also thicknesses of 0.03, 0.05, 0.06, 0.07, 0.1, 0.12, and 0.15 mm.
Common Verified Performance
Property | Value | Test Standard |
Peel strength to steel plate | ≥1.0 kg/25 mm | GB/T 2792-2014 |
Holding power | >48 h, 500 g | ASTM D3654 |
Shielding effectiveness | >85 dB | ASTM D4935 |
Heat resistance | −10°C to 120°C | GB/T 32368-2015 |
X–Y direction electrical resistance | ≤0.05 Ω | GB/T 30139-2013 |
Z-direction electrical resistance | ≤0.05 Ω | Internal standard |
These values are listed consistently in the supplied TDS documents for the four grades. Final performance in a finished assembly depends on surface preparation, contact area, overlap, grounding design and installation conditions.
Why Choose Conductive Adhesive?
- Electrical contact through the adhesive layer helps bridge bonded conductive surfaces.
- Low resistance in both X–Y and Z directions supports grounding and shielding continuity.
- The copper substrate provides EMI shielding, electrostatic discharge and heat-dissipation functions.
- Pressure-sensitive conductive acrylic adhesive simplifies installation on compatible surfaces.
- Multiple thickness grades support different profile and handling requirements.
Typical Applications
- EMI shielding and grounding in mobile phones, tablets, computers, televisions and other electronic appliances.
- Electronic enclosures, modules and assemblies requiring conductive adhesive contact.
- Cable, connector and shielding constructions where through-adhesive conductivity is required.
- Electrostatic-discharge paths and conductive bonding between compatible surfaces.
- Heat conduction and heat dissipation in designs validated for the selected tape.
How to Select the Right Grade
- Confirm that conductivity through the adhesive is required; otherwise a single-conductive grade may be sufficient.
- Specify both copper-foil thickness and total tape thickness.
- Provide the required finished width, roll length and quantity.
- Confirm the bonding substrate, contact area, grounding method and expected service temperature.
- For replacement projects, provide the current TDS, drawing or physical sample.
- Validate the selected grade in the actual assembly before mass production.
Storage and Shelf Life
Store the tape in its original cartons at 25 ± 5°C and 50 ± 20% relative humidity. Under the storage conditions stated in the supplied TDS documents, the product retains its properties for six months from the date of manufacture. Avoid direct sunlight and keep the storage area dry and ventilated.
Packaging
All products are packed with multi-layer standardized protective materials. Each item is fully sealed with thick moisture-proof PE film to block moisture and dust, preventing dampness and performance deterioration. Hard protective pads are installed on edges to buffer collision and extrusion during transit, avoiding abrasion and deformation. Thick reinforced corrugated cartons are used for outer packing with strong compression resistance, free from collapse under stacking during long-distance transport.
The all-round packaging protects goods against moisture, dust, pressure and impact, suitable for domestic logistics and overseas sea freight, guaranteeing intact delivery.
